Bar Stool Golf

In February AMBUCS, with the help of Budweiser™, get together with a number of the Danville bars and have a put-put golf contest.

The rules are pretty simple. Each bar signs up a number of four person teams and creates a put-put hole. Some holes are pretty extravagant, and the bars are encouraged to have fun with the design.

Each team donates a little money (and part of a Saturday) to join. They go from bar to bar (we even have a special bus route for the event) and play. At each hole, AMBUCS guide them and keep score.

In addition to the warm feeling from helping their community, the players also get t-shirts, special awards for a hole-in-one, and the winning team gets a gift certificate.

Teams get to name themselves (which can be a bit tricky!) and sometimes teams even go with a theme (see some of the shots below). Everyone can put-put, so come on out and join the fun!
