Christmas Party

As a follow-up to our summer camps, the Danville chapter of AMBUCS hosts the Children with Disabilities Christmas Party and each child that attended camp receives an invitation.

Each child may bring three family members to the "Breakfast with Santa" complete with eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, orange juice and milk. There are holiday songs, face painting, and often a visit from a magician, all in anticipation of the visit from Santa himself. Upon Santa's arrival, each child is provided a small gift (which members have purchased prior to the breakfast) and a picture with Santa.

There is no cost for the child or family to attend the breakfast. The cost of the gifts and pictures are paid for by the Danville AMBUCS while the cost of the breakfast is shared by the Danville AMBUCS and the Days Inn where the event is held.
